We just celebrated our first $20,000 month!!! šŸ„³šŸ™ŒšŸ¾

The grand total for the month of May was $20,911.91!!!

We are still celebrating such a MAJOR accomplishment in the history of Jump First!!šŸŽ‰šŸ™ŒšŸ¾šŸ„³

Hereā€™s what I learned on the way to $20K:

  1. Breaking down your goal is necessary. Writing goals on paper is so important. But what do you do with them after theyā€™ve been written? Make them make sense. They need to be doable. This goes further than just money goals. šŸ’° But, letā€™s start there - for example:

Making $100,000/year breaks down to $8,333/month, which equals $1,923/week and $273.97/day.

Understanding how much I need to make every day to hit my goals helps me focus on the things I need to do to make it happen.

  2. Find ways to outsource the things youā€™re not that good at. This doesnā€™t just improve the product or service you offer, it also frees up more of your time to focus on doing more of what you love (plus, it directly impacts your bottom line.)

  3. Being happy is important. Itā€™s not only about what you do; Itā€™s also about how you feel while doing it. You really can choose to be happy.

  4. That guy from Reading Rainbow was right! When LeVar Burton sang šŸŽ¶ā€œJust take a look, itā€™s in a bookā€šŸŽ¶ - he wasnā€™t playing. I read (mostly I listen to audiobooks) that reinforce and teach the success habits that help me grow mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Iā€™ve read and reread a total of 12 books so far this year ā€”- and I just downloaded 2 more.

READ, READ, READ, AND READ AGAIN!

  5. Be like a sponge! Learn everything you can from those who are already doing what you want to do. No need to reinvent the wheel - especially if something is already working. Iā€™m not saying that you shouldnā€™t be innovative nor am I telling you not to create new ideas or introduce the world to new ways of doing thingsā€¦ I just mean that you donā€™t always have to start from scratch. Someone already has the recipe. You can still add your own spices and flavors, but just start with whatā€™s already working. Then make improvements and adjustments as necessary.

  6. Haters gonna hate. Let ā€˜em. Theyā€™ll either move out of your way or theyā€™ll eventually realize that they really just admire you.

  7. Never limit yourself to your original goals. Sometimes even the most positive thoughts can be somewhat limiting. While your current goals are an excellent starting point, know that itā€™s always possible to achieve more. For example, at one point along my journey, I was so focused on achieving $10K months that I found myself stalling once I hit my goal of $10,000 - $11,000 each month. One day, I realized that my own thoughts, along with the goals I had set for myself, were keeping me stuck there. Once I removed the goal that was limiting my progress, I hit $12K, then $15K, $17K, and exceeded $20,000 with much more ease.

  8. Donā€™t forget to celebrate and enjoy your #wins. Sometimes we get so caught up and focus on achieving the next goal that we forget to celebrate our current victories.

Take a minute. Breathe it in. You just crushed a major goal. What a time to be aligned!
